How are Hollywood black & white photos both similar and different today from throughout history?
-Hollywoods black and white photos are both similar and different today from throughout history. They are smilier because the photos are always black and white, plus most of the photos show what the celebrity looks like. They are also similar because they express what is happing, for example the facial expression of the celebrity.These hollywood portraits might differ today from how they where a couple of years back too. This might be because now our world is much more advanced than before. We have more advanced technology like cameras and also the photoshop documents have changed, to the better of course.
Why are Photoshop tools & effects used to transform portraits?
-Photoshop tools and effects are used to transform portraits because they make the portrait look more professional. They also hide most of the bad things in the portrait. They can also add effects that might explain what is happing. for example the background, if its light it might let the viewer think that the person in the portrait is a optimistic person. However if its dark, it gives the viewer the opposite.
How do designers express their mood and personality through use of tools and effects?
-Designers express their mood and personality through the use of tools and effect. Many designers have their own way of expressing what they truly feel. These designers might use their work to express what they are feeling. So if a person is looking at a work of art, and that piece is very dark that person might conclude that the author is in a depressing mood. On the other hand, if the image has many bright colors and maybe a caption that makes you smile, we would know that the artist was in a good mood and very cheerful one maybe. The artist could use masking effects to put a symbol that means something to the artist.

-Online tutorials vary in style and quality depending on what you chose. Of course if you want a better online tutorial you would have to scarifies and spend money. Each tutorial has a different style depending on who made it and what their personality is like.

3 Portrait Layouts
The first photo's goal was to make the photo look like a colored ink drawing. Also to improve the picture and make it look more professional. The tools i learned to used through this project are the overlay layer, which was used throughout the whole project. Another tool we used a lot was the Sharpen More filter. I was following the directions and that lead to make my overall image look better, and thats what i did successfully.
Photo two:
The goal of this image is to re-touch the photo. The goal is also to change the level of the photo and the look of the object. The most tool we used in this project was the gradient tool. The skills i learned are to follow directions, also in photoshop you have to be very careful with what layer you're working on. The thing I did most successfully is the light effect looked very nice with the picture.
Photo three:
For this picture the goal is to create a high contrast photo. Also to merge images with your picture. The tools i used in this project are layer masking. Another tool i think was used very often was the eraser tool, it was used to make the photos you merged with your original photo more contrast. The thing i successfully did here is how i used the eraser tool and how i merged the images together, and also the layers where done properly.

1) The various types of digital images are:JPG, GIF, TIFF, PNG, and BMP. If your picture is a low resolution picture it means that you do want want much detail and the space of the image is limited. However, if you want a high resolution it means that your going to have a lot of detail.
2) Digital images are used fairly in today's world because you see them everyday. You see them on billboards, commercials, and all kind of other adds.
3) Photoshop improves the image quality by either making a dull image look more alive or the brightness of an image can improve
4) The tools that are used to apply image enhancement are tools used in photoshop, for example the color brightness. However many different people use other websites or documents.

Graphic design is everywhere its all around the world.
